New StarCraft 2: Heart of Swarm Trailer!
Five HD projectors in a 360 degree dome with ambient lighting on a omni-directional treadmill, along with motion tracking and paintball guns equals a pretty damn realistic experience.
Only problem I have is, why isn’t it on AMD’s Eyefinity setup so that you can have a 360 view?
It’s been over ten years, since Rockstar Games brought out this insanely popular title out to the world. Rockstar Games has recently announced that they will be porting the game to Android! So far there’s only going to be a handful of phones and tablets that will be supported but lets hope that changes once Ice Cream Sandwich comes out as well as the next generation of phones as well.
The following devices will be supported on launch: Droid X2, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, Samsung Galaxy S2, Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad, Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
AndroidCentral did point out something interesting though, there seems to be NO Sony Playstation Certified devices in that list. Even though the original game got popular on the Playstation platform. [via AndroidCentral]
At CTIA 2011, in San Diego, California, Motorola has already announced that the Motorola Atrix 2 will be on sale at AT&T on October 16, 2011. The phone pretty much has identical specifications as it’s predecessor the Atrix. It still has 1GB of RAM, an internal 16GB of storage and it has a qHD display as well as WebTop capabilities. Things that were left out or changed is now its a 4.3″ screen (up from 4.0″) and the 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 has been changed to a 1Ghz TI OMAP as well as the removal of the fingerprint scanner. While Group B rallying has been banned since 1986 due to the fact that these cars were too fast and caused many injuries and fatalities. DiRT 3 plans on bringing it back in the virtual world. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game. Comes out on May 24, 2011 on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. I would get this for my PS3, but since I have a decent rig for my PC I have to get this for the PC just because I know it’ll support Eyefinity.
We’re not talking about custom ROMs here, we’re talking about Sony Ericsson actually pushing out an official update for the phone. Only a few months ago, when Sony Ericsson pushed out the must needed Eclair update for the phone they announced shortly after that they won’t be updating the phone to Froyo. Turns out that didn’t mean that they didn’t want to update the phone to Gingerbread. The update is set to come out sometime late Q2 or early Q3 this year. [via AndroidCentral]
The demo for Dragon Age II came out on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 22, 2011. While the game looked like a very cheesy port from the consoles on the PC, developers BioWare has already put out a 1.08GB patch to allow PC Elitists to bring the game into DirectX11. Now you won’t need just any PC, you will need a video card with at least 1024MB of memory and obviously it has be able to handle DirectX11. Since this is a self-installing patch, this means that you will be able to install the pack if you got the demo through Steam. Grab the patch HERE. [via Kotaku]
